I make these short video films as an adjunct to specific still photo series. This video clip is intended as a complement to the “Poolside” series of still photos.

Poolside records the ever-changing show of inflatable furniture, beach balls, toys and pillows floating on the pool outside my office window.
The "Poolside" video is like a moving painting to me; the rubber ducky bobbing along makes me smile. It was shot over a period of several months with a Canon ZR Mini-DV camera, and edited in Premiere 6.0 with the technical assistance of Marty Tibor.
The improvised violin music is by Aenea, from her album Prayers of the Earth, Places of the Heart.
